ADVICE LAWYER

 

NALSC provides duty counsel services to assist NAN community members by providing summary legal advice on a variety of issues ranging from criminal and family law to criminal injuries compensation.

Duty counsel services include summary legal advice without a fee, assistance with legal and government forms and referrals to other community and government agencies for NAN members who qualify for legal aid.

The Advice Lawyer is at our Thunder Bay office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

You can speak to the Advice Lawyer by:

As a Nishnawbe Aski Nation community member, summary legal advice is free and does not cost you anything. Please take advantage of this service. This legal service is provided to answer your legal inquiries on various legal issues you may have a question.
