On April 2011, the Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation (NALSC) and the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service (NAPS) entered into a Protocol to cooperate with each other in integrating the NALSC programs such that NAPS refers cases to these programs. The Protocol includes pre-charge and post-charge diversions to the Restorative Justice program; referrals to the Victim Witness Liaison; and, referrals to the Talking Together program.
