How is Public Legal Education Provided?
Some of the ways in which PLE has been provided in the past include the following:

- Clinic Days (sponsored by Legal Aid Ontario)
- School Presentations
- Information Booths and Displays
- Newsletters
- Promotional Materials (posters, maps, brochures)
- Circulation of CLEO materials and other NALSC generated literature
- Cross-Cultural Workshops
- Public Awareness of Aboriginal Justice Issues
- Special Projects such as Media Projects and Curriculum Projects
Who Can Access PLE Services?
Our PLE services are available to:

- Chiefs and tribal councils

- Justice personnel
How Can You Access PLE Services?
Community requests for any number of PLE services are usually handled by the Community Legal Workers (CLWs) who are responsible for various areas of the NAN territory. The CLWs relay the requests back to the Legal Education and Communications Officer at the Thunder Bay office .
All other requests may be directed to the Legal Education Officer by e-mail, mail, phone or fax.
