COMMON EXPERIENCE PAYMENT (CEP)

LATE APPLICATIONS




CEP DEADLINE EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 19, 2012.



"Will there be any exceptions made if I cannot submit my application in time to meet the deadline?

As per the Settlement Agreement, applications will be accepted for up to one year after the application deadline only in such cases where the applicant could not apply within the designated timeframe due to disability, undue hardship or other exceptional circumstances. If you are applying late, you will need to provide a reason, in writing, for the delay in application."  (from the Service Canada website at http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/goc/cep/exceptions.shtml)

It will be up to the CEP Processing Centre to decide if your CEP application will be accepted based on reason(s) provided, in writing.
